SVP Support Services - Advocate Aurora Health
Al Manshum is a Michigan native who relocated to Illinois more than 30 years ago to seek a degree in architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology. Upon graduating, he dedicated his early career to the planning, design and construction of healthcare facilities. He also started a family and devoted much of his time to them, including coaching his daughters' volleyball and softball teams for 8 years. In 2004 Al made the transition from architect to owner and moved to Advocate Health Care. Today he leads Support Services for the recently merged, Advocate Aurora Health. His responsibilities include: Supply Chain, Facilities, Construction, Food Services, Housekeeping, Technology Maintenance and Security. Al resides in Vernon Hills and enjoys traveling, spending time with family, especially his 17 and 19 year old daughters, and staying active.
I've coached my daughters' softball team to two conference championships. I've been cliff diving.
